Guam - "Take a break." That's the message the American Cancer Society is spreading today with the Great American Smoke Out. Marisha Artero says they encourage residents to use the day to identify a date to quit and put together a quit plan.

She shared with KUAM News, "We know that quitting is hard and we want folks to feel that they can be successful in order to be the most successful it's going to help to have that information so we're doing a number of things. We have tobacco cessation kits available at the office at no charge."

Throughout the month of November, the American Cancer Society is also offering tobacco cessation workshops for interested companies or organizations.
