Guam - District Court Chief Judge Frances Tydingco Gatewood will hear arguments tomorrow on Dave Davis' objections to a report that recommends the dismissal of his lawsuit against the Guam Election Commission. Davis alleges the plebiscite is racially discriminative and a violation of federal law as he was not allowed to register to participate in the political status vote.
The matter has been set for trial for next year but the case has stalled until the chief judge decides whether to accept or reject the recommendation from the magistrate judge.
The hearing is set for 1:15 in the afternoon.
