Guam - Island residents who want to provide their input or learn more about the expanded Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement are invited to attend this week's public scoping meetings. The first is scheduled for Thursday, November 8 in Santa Rita at the old McCool School from 5-8pm; another will held the next night at the same time in Dededo at Okkodo High School; the final scoping meeting will be held Saturday, November 10 at the UOG Field House in Mangilao from noon to 3 in the afternoon.

The deadline to submit a comment on the SEIS is December 10.

There are now seven preliminary alternatives for a live fire training range, which include Route 15a and Route 15b, three alternative locations either on or adjacent to Naval Magazine, with the two new ones at Andersen Air Force Base's Northwest Field and NCTS Finegayan on the northwest coast of Guam.
