Guam - Island mayors have voiced their opposition to the for-profit bingo initiative. With the exception of Asan-Maina mayor Benny San Nicolas who supports the proposal and Talofofo mayor Ben Taitague who had no response, the other mayors and vice mayors believe the initiative is not good for Guam.

Guam Japan Friendship Village meanwhile issued a statement today, believing that the Committee to Keep Guam Good had made the announcement about the mayors. Takami Hisamoto said time is running out on Jackie Marati's crusade to deny unemployed Guam workers and their families the right to work and make a good life for their futures.
