Guam - The Guam Community College celebrated the completion of the fully-renovated Foundation Building. GCC president Dr. Mary Okada says the project was possible due to the support they received from both federal and local entities.  GCC was able to obtain a low interest loan from the USDA for some of the construction while the rest was provided by the GCC Foundation Board.  the 21 thousand square foot structure will house classrooms, an expanded GCC bookstore and a cafe.

The original Foundation Building, built in 1993, was damaged by Supertyphoon Pongsona in December 2002.
