Guam - While Department of Corrections officers are owed more than six pay periods of overtime, Senator Mana Silva Taijeron has asked the governor to use his transfer authority to pay the officers.

In a letter to the governor, Taijeron says the government must make good on its financial obligations. DepCor owes its officers more than $266,000 in overtime, another $14,000 in night differential and more than $300,000 in hazardous pay.
