Guam - The Guam Fire Department is trying to determine what caused a fire at the former Younex-Emerald Oceanview Park Showroom in Tamuning on Tuesday night. Traffic was rerouted for several hours last night as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.

GFD spokesperson Lieutenant Ed Artero says the building occupants were in the process of shutting down the site and gutting it out. There were several piles of debris behind the abandoned building that caught fire.  A portion of the main structure was also burnt.
