Man who admitted to role in cop killing gets year probation
A man who admitted to being part of a plot to kill a police officer was spared any jail time. Brandon Baluran told the court today that he had no direct involvement in the plot and didn't know what the officer looked like.

Guam - A man who admitted to being part of a plot to kill a police officer was spared any jail time. Brandon Baluran told the court today that he had no direct involvement in the plot and didn't know what the officer looked like. In exchange for pleading guilty to terrorizing, Baluran was a suspended one year sentence and was placed on one year of probation.
Michael Torre is expected to make a similar plea on November 20, but he remains behind bars for allegedly trading a gun for drugs. The main conspirator of the plan, Jeremiah Ishizaki meanwhile is scheduled to changed his plea on November 20, as well.
