Police investigate Sinajana rape/stabbing

Police are looking for a man who raped and stabbed a woman at her Sinajana home early Sunday morning.

Guam - Police are looking for a man who raped and stabbed a woman at her Sinajana home early Sunday morning.  The woman returned home from work around three o'clock Sunday morning when a man armed with a knife grabbed her inside her home. 

Police say he raped her twice and then got startled and fled.  The woman had stab wounds to the back of her hand and was treated at the Healing Hearts Rape Crisis Center. 

The suspect is believed to be Chuukese, standing 5'6", weighing 160 pounds with a slim build and a dark complexion.  He was last seen wearing a gray, striped, hooded sweatshirt and dark brown shorts.  Anyone with any information is asked to contact police at 472-8911 or Guam Crimestoppers at 477-HELP (4357).
