Gas prices drop to $4.77/gallon

Guam - Good news for your pocketbooks, as prices at the pump have dropped $0.10. Today at Mobil, Shell and 76 gas stations the price for a gallon of unleaded will now cost you $4.77.

There's been no word on the reason for the drop, but the relief at the pump follows prices in the U.S. mainland that have been dropping in recent weeks as well.

The plaintiffs want the refunds in six months but the government is looking at one year.  The Calvo Administration's fiscal team is also involved in the settlement discussions as there are concerns about where the government will get the money to pay refunds each year without impacting services and personnel.
