Calvo visits Guam soldiers in California

Ahead of their deployment to Afghanistan next month, Governor Eddie Calvo paid a visit to 13 Guam soldiers of the 29th Infantry Brigade, otherwise known as Team I'-Fit currently training in Fort Irwin, California.

Guam - Ahead of their deployment to Afghanistan next month, Governor Eddie Calvo paid a visit to 13 Guam soldiers of the 29th Infantry Brigade, otherwise known as Team I'-Fit currently training in Fort Irwin, California. Governor Calvo also met with the fort's commander, Brigadier General Terry Ferrell, who said that not only was the exercise our Guamanian soldiers participating in the most complex the fort has ever had in its history but that Guam's sons performed above and beyond expectations. Calvo's visit was at the invitation of Adjutant General Benny Paulino.
