Info briefing on family violence programs

Representatives have been asked to attend an informational briefing on Wednesday afternoon to discuss programs, policies, and resources pertinent to addressing family violence locally.

Guam - October is Family Violence Awareness Month and with the number of reported cases of family violence increasing at an alarming rate, representatives from the court, the Attorney General's Office and several non-profit organizations have been invited to provide an update to lawmakers on what's being done to combat the problem on Guam.

Representatives have been asked to attend an informational briefing on Wednesday afternoon to discuss programs, policies, and resources pertinent to addressing family violence locally.

The briefing is scheduled for two o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
