Confirmation hearing booked for Maria Cenzon

Guam - Governor's legal counsel Maria Cenzon will be one step closer to the Superior Court of Guam bench following a confirmation hearing on Wednesday. Cenzon was recently nominated to fill the vacancy left by Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Barrett Anderson who retired. The public safety committee is scheduled to receive public comments on Cenzon's confirmation and also speak with the nominee herself.

She has been practicing law on Guam since 1996. The confirmation hearing is scheduled for this Wednesday at 9 in the morning at the Legislative Public Hearing Room in Hagatna.
