Guam - District Court Judge Frances Tydingco Gatewood has denied a motion for judgment of acquittal that was filed by Jeremiah Santos Isezaki. Several months ago a federal jury found him guilty of being a felon in possession of a firearm.  Isezaki sought an acquittal claiming there was a lack of sufficient evidence presented during the trial to prove that he was in possession of a colt .45 pistol.

With the court's decision, his sentencing is set for December 3.
