TakeCare donates $100,000 to GCC
TakeCare Asia donated $100,000 to support the Guam Community College's Practical Nursing and Medical Assisting Programs.
By KUAM NewsGuam - TakeCare Asia donated $100,000 to support the Guam Community College's Practical Nursing and Medical Assisting Programs. This marks the fourth consecutive year TakeCare has shown their support for the college.
The donation will be used towards providing student scholarships and equipment and materials necessary to support the training and instruction of GCC's practical nursing and medical assisting students. Past donations were used to purchase bedside monitors, a pediatric manikin, an anatomically correct model for teaching airway management, and specialized microscopes as well as funded for three nursing faculty to earn their master's degrees from the University of Phoenix.
