Guam - Still no word on what caused that massive fire to ignite at Global Recycling Center two weeks ago. Guam EPA has taken the lead on the investigation.

GEPA administrator Eric Palacios told KUAM News, "We formed an internal working group at the agency that consists of several employees. We've initiated the request for certain information and documents from the company and we are also compiling documents internally relative to the operations of the company. It's all in the interest of coming to a very sound and legally based conclusion whatever that may be at this point."

Palacios says it's premature to speculate what started the point. The fire started as representatives from the USEPA were actually there touring the Dededo facility. He hopes to have an update in a couple weeks.
