Guam - The Port Authority of Guam has been given the green light to accept the terms and conditions of a commercial loan to acquire gantry cranes from the Port of Los Angeles and Matson and Horizon.  The Public Utilities Commission gave the approval but is still reviewing the port's proposed surcharge.

The surcharge would assist the port in paying the $12 million necessary to pay for the cranes and maintenance.
