Moped crash victim dies

A 48 year old man who struck a Dodge Nitro in Dededo with his moped this morning is dead. According to Guam Memorial Hospital nursing supervisor Bill Toves, the victim was pronounced dead at 7pm.

Guam - A 48 year old man who struck a Dodge Nitro in Dededo with his moped this morning is dead. According to Guam Memorial Hospital nursing supervisor Bill Toves, the victim was pronounced dead at 7pm. The unidentified man spent the day on life support after suffering multiple severe injuries from the crash. As we reported, the driver of the Nitro was heading southbound on route 1 in Dededo near Ysengsong road when the moped struck the vehicle from behind. GPD highway patrol continues to investigate the crash. An autopsy may be performed Tuesday afternoon. His death marks the 9th traffic related fatality for 2012.
