Guam - Senator Tom Ada, who has oversight over the Guam Power Authority, wants the agency's smart grid project to be shelved temporarily. He's requesting the Consolidated Commission on Utilities to issue a moratorium on the installation of smart meters until GPA has provided customers more information.

An information briefing will be held within the month to get more details about privacy, billing and health related issues. GPA received a $32 million grant for the smart grid meters.
