Police respond to standoff in Mangilao

Guam - Guam Police Department SWAT officers and a hostage negotiation team are at a home along Maga Lane in Mangilao.  Police responded to a disturbance call reported at the residence around 10:15 this morning.  Hagatna Precinct officers found a man with a knife. 

GPD Spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia confirms that one man received a small cut during an altercation and another man, believed to be the suspect, has barricaded himself inside the residence.  Police believe he is the only individual inside the home.   A medic was requested to be on standby.
