Military names FSM soldier killed in action

Guam - The Governor's Office has identified the fallen soldier from Afghanistan from Micronesia as Army Specialist Sapuro B. Nena. Governor Eddie Calvo issued a statement on behalf of his family and Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio and his wife, offering their deepest and most heartfelt condolences to their family.

Federated States of Micronesia consul general Robert Ruecho confirmed yesterday that Sapuro is an FSM citizen and had been killed in action while serving in the Middle East.
