JFK done, but still lacks certificate
by Krystal Paco
Guam - It's been a year since the new John F. Kennedy High School in Upper Tumon opened its doors, but there's still one more step before it can be considered complete. According to Department of Public Works director Joanne Brown, the school has undergone necessary inspections and garnered occupancy permits, but still lacks a certificate of completion.
"That's something that will have to be addressed between us the Attorney Generals Office and DOE, but as far as structural issues pretty much most of those concerns have been addressed," said Brown.
Unlike last school year, students have access to the school gym, dance room, and fields that were completed just before the summer break.
