DOE works on RFI for school breakins
by Krystal Paco
Guam - In light of recent school breakins, the Department of Education is looking for more data. According to DOE acting superintendent Rob Malay, the agency won't proceed with developing a comprehensive plan to combat school breakins until they get the facts straight. He said, "We're currently trying to collect information so that we ensure all of our school campuses are safe.
"Any information that the public has in regard to any of the school breaks in as of late is greatly appreciated."
Earlier this week we reported a breakin to oceanview middle school. Vandals walked off with petty cash, non-appropriated fund checks, and three federally purchased computers.
If you have any information on school breakins, call the Guam Crimestoppers at 477-HELP (4357).
