No jail for woman who bounced 54 checks

A woman who admitted to writing 54 bounced checks was spared jail time during her sentencing today in the District Court.

Guam - A woman who admitted to writing 54 bounced checks was spared jail time during her sentencing today in the District Court.  Debbie Ann Mantanona will be placed on supervised release for three years and was ordered to pay more than $10,000 in restitution and a $300 special assessment fee.  The 32-year-old pleaded guilty to three counts of wire fraud.
