Guam gets nearly half-million in grants
According to Guam delegate Madeleine Bordallo close to a half-million dollars in federal grant money is heading toward Guam to fund programs at the University of Guam and the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse.
Guam - According to Guam delegate Madeleine Bordallo close to a half-million dollars in federal grant money is heading toward Guam to fund programs at the University of Guam and the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Specifically, $225,000 will be used for UOG to implement the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening and Intervention Program, while $195,000 will be used by Mental Health to expand and enhance Guam's Aging and Disability Resource Center Program.
