Contraband discovered at Southern High

Guam - At Southern High School, KUAM News has confirmed marijuana was confiscated on school grounds. Principal James Petite said, "To the parents, check your child's bag. Ask them why they come to school. Remind them that while they're here, stay focused, stay directed, and pass their class. They can't do it if they're intoxicated, high, or whatever. To the students, be at your best behavior at all times. This is the last stepping-stone to adult life."

It was a school resource recovery officer that found the drugs on campus. According to petite the SROs are proving to be successful on campus.
