Guam - The male minor who accused a contractual custodian at Liguan Elementary School of inappropriately touching him took the witness stand today. Alfredo Nicolas, Jr. faces charges of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct after a 5-year-old student alleged Nicolas sexually assaulted him in the school bathroom.
However, after being questioned multiple times by the government, the victim said he was not able to identify Nicolas in the courtroom. He did however state numerous times that Nicolas allegedly touched his private parts. A second student also testified that he saw the alleged incident and even heard Nicolas tell the minor not to say anything about what he had just done.
Both parties rested their case this afternoon. Closing arguments as well as jury instructions will be given Friday at 2pm.
