Guam - The CCU approved a $485.6 million budget last night for the Guam Power Authority. Although that marks a slight decline in revenues for GPA, the agency fully expects to fund projects related to its strategic plan to improve power quality, reliability and efficiency within all areas of operation.  According to GPA general manager Joaquin Flores the FY13 budget includes capital investments in the authority's generation, transmission and distribution assets. The CIP's include completion of hybrid projects in Agat as well as substation refurbishments, protection upgrades and fuel pipeline improvements.
