Guam - A man who faced the possibility of 40 years behind bars for bringing more than a dozen shipments of crystal methamphetamine to Guam will only spend three years behind bars with credit for time served.  Joseph Salas was sentenced in the District Court today. Last year he admitted to receiving drugs in the mail and delivering it to others.

Because of his cooperation with federal authorities, he received a reduced sentence and upon release from jail will be placed on supervised release for four years.  He was ordered to self surrender to the U.S. Marshals Service upon designation of a federal facility by the Bureau of Prisons.
