Former custodian's trial begins

Guam - Jury selection and trial for 73-year-old Alfredo Nicolas, Jr. started today in the Superior Court of Guam. Nicolas faces charges of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct as a 1st degree felony. The former contract custodian at Liguan Elementary School was arrested back in January after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 5-year-old boy in the school bathroom on more than one occasion.

The prosecution informed potential jurors that there will be no forensic evidence to assist in the case. Trial continues tomorrow before Judge Anita Sukola.
