Harassment complaint filed against AH mayor
by Nick Delgado
Guam – An Agana Heights resident filed a harassment complaint and is pressing charges against the village mayor, Paul McDonald. Anselmo Untalan tells KUAM the mayor approached him Saturday afternoon at a dialysis center in Hagatna, and alleges the mayor starting to scream at him and even stated in Chamorro that he was going to slap him. Untalan says the incident left him upset and shaken up, as he was already in a weaken state from completing dialysis that day. He says he immediately filed a harassment complaint at the Hagatna precinct.
However, KUAM spoke with mayor McDonald who denies the allegations stating he was only having a civil conversation with Untalan. McDonald says he never mentioned anything derogatory or stated anything to harass him. The mayor believes outside parties are forcing Untalan to pursue the police complaint.
