Guam - Former Guam Memorial Hospital administrator Rey Vega finds himself at a new job today.  He has been tapped by the Calvo Administration to be the new deputy director for the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse.  During a recent hearing in the District Court, governor's legal counsel Maria Cenzon had mentioned to the judge that the Administration was looking to hire a deputy director to help director Wilfred Aflague with the additional management responsibilities related to the amended permanent injunction.

The management of Mental Health will be turned back over to the agency on December 3.  All authority and control has been with the federal management team for the last four years.
