Man dead after car hits utility pole

Guam - A 52 year old man is dead after his vehicle crashed into a concrete utility pole on airport road this morning. The Fire Department received the emergency call at 8:25 am reporting the man's vehicle ran off the roadway and collided with the pole just off route 10A. Emergency responders conducted CPR on the man, as he was rushed to the Guam Memorial hospital. A GMH nursing supervisor says the victim was pronounced dead at 9:02 am. Authorities are still on scene investigating how the crash occurred.
