Guam - Southern High School assistant principal Kin Cruz Fernandez is behind bars on misdemeanor charges of family violence and harassment. According to court documents a woman, known to Fernandez, reported to police that she found sealed straws of suspected methamphetamine while cleaning her Barrigada home.

Fernandez allegedly became angry and aggressive asking where she had put the drugs. She also reported to police that she had received numerous threatening text messages from Fernandez including one where he allegedly said, "I will destroy that car with you in it." During questioning Fernandez admitted to smoking the drug Ice at the Labor Day Picnic at Ypao Beach and officers noted that Fernandez was twitching, grinding his teeth and showed signs of using drugs.
