Guam - A Dededo man died after he was ejected from the car he was driving. Police say Peter Monten, 28, lost control of a Nissan Pathfinder on the Back Road to Andersen Air Force Base near Chalan Momi Street just after midnight and ran off the roadway. The driver fell out and was pinned under the car after it rolled on top of him.
Monten was pronounced dead on arrival at the Guam Memorial Hospital. One passenger was treated at the scene while two others refused treatment. Highway Patrol officers with the Guam Police Department are still trying to determine if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
