Guam - The federal government is recommending a life sentencing for former Blue House Lounge owner Song Ja Cha. In a sentencing memorandum, the U.S. Attorney's Office recommended life behind bars, calling Cha's actions "egregious".

They are also recommending that cha pay more than $300,000 in restitution to nine women who were forced to work and perform sexual acts with no pay. The victims are owed between $5,000 and $110,000 for never being compensated and being promised good paying jobs if they came to Guam.  She was convicted of sex trafficking, coercion, and enticement of a minor to travel for purpose of prostitution.

Cha has agreed to use $200,000 that was seized during a raid toward restitution. Her sentencing is scheduled for September 20.
