Guam - Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz says the Guam Legislature will hold public hearings on the governor's spending cuts bill dubbed the Omnibus Budget Reform Act of 2012- but he wants Adelup to turn over some information first. In a letter to Acting Governor Ray Tenorio today Cruz said he's willing to work with Governor Eddie Calvo, but the legislature needs the data driving his ideas. Without it senators can't give the measure the thoughtful deliberation it deserves.  According to Adelup the bill could save GovGuam $70 million in spending.  Cruz says however the legislation will have serious far reaching impacts on teachers, fireman, armed servicemen, expectant mothers, fathers and taxpayers.
