Guam - The Guam Police Department has opened up the top cop position. Applications are being accepted for those individuals who are qualified to be the highest ranking police officer on the force. 

The colonel or commander position has been vacant for some time now.  Police Chief Fred Bordallo says he looks forward to reviewing the applications and clarifies that he will not be applying for the job. 

The deadline for those to apply is this Friday, August 31.
