Lawmakers return to session Tuesday

Guam - Lawmakers return to session this week, as they intend to vote on the many amendments they made to the Fiscal Year 2013 budget. For the last week senators have been working on a revised budget that was submitted by the Finance & Taxation Committee's chairperson. 

The measure makes appropriations for the operations of the Executive Branch of the Government of Guam for the coming fiscal year, but does not take into account the governor's recommendations for various cost-cutting measures to reduce millions in government spending.

Senators are scheduled to return to session on Tuesday.
