Guam - Things are starting to cool off at Civil Defense. According to Guam Homeland Security Office of Civil Defense spokesperson Alyssa Benito the parts have finally arrived on island and are being installed into the air conditioning system at the E-911 Center in Agana Heights.

The air conditioning system in Civil Defense's basement where E-911 is located has been broken since the end of June. The soaring temperatures forced Guam Fire Department dispatchers and personnel to move to their backup location at the Dededo Fire Station.

No word when the repairs will officially be completed and when GFD E-911 will move back to Civil Defense.
