Guam - Two Navy military police officers accused of multiple armed robberies requests they be released from prison. Justin Miska and Michael Mayers face charges of 2nd degree robbery and attempted 2nd degree robbery after they allegedly robbed a massage parlor in Tumon, then tried to rob another massage establishment in Tamuning, as well as a man near the Liberation Carnival Casino.
Mayers' attorney, Randy Cunliffe, recommends his client be released under the condition he be restricted to Naval Base Guam. The Attorney General's Office objected, stating they must first speak with the Judge Advocate General, as there is a concern Mayers may try to leave the island.
A bail hearing for the two is set for this Friday at 4pm.
