Man caught sneaking contraband into prison

A 22-year-old man is behind bars after he allegedly tried to sneak contraband in to the Department of Corrections Mangilao prison Sunday.

Guam - A 22-year-old man is behind bars after he allegedly tried to sneak contraband in to the Department of Corrections Mangilao prison Sunday. According to police, Edward Wilson Junior was seen by DepCor officers parked along the fenceline. When officers conducted a check of the area, they found tobacco products that he apparently threw inside the perimeter. Wilson was later picked up and was booked and confined on charges of criminal trespassing, promoting prison contraband, resisting arrest and an outstanding warrant of arrest. Police say more arrests may be pending.
