Heavy rains force flood advisory

Guam - A Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory is in effect for central Guam until six o'clock tonight. According to the National Weather Service heavy thunderstorms will bring 2 to 4 inches of additional rain to much of central Guam, including Agat, Piti, Hagatna, the airport, Mongmong, Tamuning and Tumon.  Excessive runoff from heavy rain will cause elevated levels of small creeks and streams and ponding of water in urban areas, highways and streets.
