By KUAM NewsGuam - South Carolina representative and House Armed Services Committee member Joe Wilson is on island meeting with Guam's elected and military leaders. Governor Eddie Calvo and committee chair on the buildup Senator Judi Guthertz are hoping to hear from Wilson on what's being done to move the realignment forward. KUAM News has learned a breakfast meeting was held early this morning with Wilson, Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz, Majority Leader Rory Respicio, Guthertz , Senator Tina Muna Barnes, Consolidated Commission on Utilities member Eloy Hara and GVB general manager Joanne Camacho. We're told the meeting was very informal, and according to Senator Respicio, Wilson reiterated support for the China visa waiver and the buildup on Guam. Official meetings with the governor and the legislature are scheduled for this afternoon.
