Guam - A 25 year old man accused of showing pornographic videos to elementary and middle school students during an after school program was re-indicted by a Superior court grand jury, according to Attorney General spokesperson Carlina Charfauros. Thomas Mendiola Quidachay was indicted on 6 counts of use of one's child in obscene acts.
It's the same charge the court dismissed last month, as they found no probable cause in the magistrate's complaint to charge Quidachay with the felony.
In 2009, Quidachay was the director of the H.A.T.S.A. tutoring program conducted at the Chalan Pago community center. Court documents state, video was found on one of the center's computers where Quidachay allegedly videotaped the children's reactions as he forced them to watch the adult material.
The Attorney General's Office disagreed with the court's dismissal. He is scheduled to return to court later this month.
