Guam - If you didn't get a chance to visit this year's Liberation Carnival, you'll now have an extra week to do so. The Mayors Council of Guam has agreed to extend the carnival and casino operations through Saturday, August 11.  The raffle drawing for the $10,000 and the awards for the Liberation Parade floats will still happen on Sunday evening at eight o'clock.

Mayors Council executive director Angel Sablan says vendors and booth owners have been advised that those who would like to stay back the extra week may do so. The Liberation Casino and Carnival will close at 11:59 next Saturday night.
