Guam - Senator Chris Duenas is concerned that a public hearing has not yet been scheduled to address his "Bucks for Busses" bill. In a letter to Speaker Judi Won Pat, Duenas argues that with the recent decision to postpone session and with no action to schedule a public hearing, he's concerned the committee is not giving the crisis the attention it deserves.

He added that he hopes this is not a tactic to hold on to pay raises that were raised prior to him entering office. Bill 491 would immediately repeal senatorial pay raises and augment funding at Department of Public Works school bus operations. Speaker Won Pat meanwhile is attending a women's conference in Palau, but is aware of the letter and is looking at all options.
