Man arrested for gas station robbery

Guam – Police arrested the man responsible for an early morning robbery this week at the Mobil On the Run store in Mangilao. Police say Nick Nick pretended to make a purchase inside the store around 4 am Monday, but when the cashier opened the register Nick allegedly jumped over the counter and grabbed as much money as he could. GPD investigators were initially informed Nick had a weapon at the time, but further investigation and video surveillance showed Nick allegedly held up his arm threatening to physically assault the cashier. He was only able to take $30, then fled in a black Mazda truck. Police were later tipped off that the truck was at a nearby mom and pop store. Nick was booked and confined on charges of robbery, guilt establish by complicity, criminal facilitation, and retail theft. Police add more arrests are pending.
