Guam - A Tamuning resident was alarmed to come home and find a male individual armed with a handgun inside a residence. Tumon-Tamuning Precinct commander Lieutenant Ron Taitano says the burglary occurred just after two o'clock this afternoon.

The suspect fled in a vehicle and police were able to track the car to the Ypao Breeze Inn. Police converged on the hotel and located the suspect inside a room. Taitano says the suspect tried to avoid being apprehended by jumping from the second floor balcony.

Police were there though when he landed. Officers were also able to recover some stolen goods as well as the handgun. Bruce Charfauros is in custody at this time.
