Guam - Emotions flared during the civil trial of Debbie Quinata and Attorney David Lujan today. Quinata took the stand, becoming emotional when describing in detail how Lujan would trespass on her Umatac property without regard for her plants and property.

Quinata testified that dozens of her plants and trees were damaged or destroyed by Lujan and those who visited his Umatac property. She also testified about various verbal outbursts the two shared including one instance where Lujan allegedly yelled at her while waiving a machete and another time allegedly stole bananas from trees on her property.

Quinata is seeking monetary damages from Lujan for the damage to her property as well as for the emotional and physical stress she alleges he caused. Lujan is suing Quinata for allegedly encroaching on his property without paying. Quinata is expected to take the stand for cross-examination when the trial resumes on Thursday.
